Some Reminders To Take With You

Sometimes I need gentle reminders, especially in times and moments when I may be beating myself up and not extending kindness and grace to self. It can be so easy to extend grace and kindness to others, but then struggle to do the same with ourselves, so whether you find yourself in a place like that right now, or you just want some reminders to keep close for when you may need it, I encourage you to take from here what you will.

  • It’s okay to say no.

  • It’s okay to not have it all figured out.

  • It’s okay to start over.

  • It’s okay to not always be available.

  • It’s okay to set yourself and your well-being as a priority.

  • It’s okay to take a leap of faith even when it scares you.

  • It’s okay to ask for forgiveness when you’re at fault.

  • It’s okay to establish healthy boundaries for yourself and your relationships, and then operate within them.

  • It’s okay to be vulnerable in safe spaces.

  • It’s okay to be assertive, use your voice, and advocate for yourself.

Life can become a lot sometimes, and we can find ourselves being pulled under the current. My hope for you today is that you take from this list what’s for you, and you hold it close. ♥️
